Just wondering if there are benefits to installing a K&N Cold air intake as well as a chip. Luv my Tundra as we all do!

I have a K&N CAI. I wish I would've went with the Volant setup. It does sound very good though at mid/wide open throttle. Really woke up my Flowmaster exhaust.

Volant was a damn site cheaper than the K&N. Plus it's an enclosed filter box w/ big conical type filter that bolts into factory location and uses a boot to pull air from the fender. K&N is just exposed to hot under hood air. Love the sound, but it's a classic case of Christopher didn't choose right. LOL!!!! Oh well. Mistake made/lesson learned.

Forgive me as I don't want to thread jack, but just curious about the BD. Does it display (or give the option to) change live temperature readings (trans, water etc.)? I've seen that other systems can do it but display a super unintuitive name like a number or something.

I'm so close to getting a 8 or 10" standard, and a BD :spending:. Being younger, I've heard stories from my father and uncles growing up where there were tons of cool V8s everywhere with glasspacks. I always thought it would be cool to see that, and now that I actually have a V8 make it sound awesome.

    See fine print
Bully dog can display a lot of engine parameters. You can’t change them though. I have the bdx and it has displays but I believe the GT has more parameters to display. That one was designed to be left on the vehicle where the bdx was designed to be plugged in hen removed once time is complete.
