    3.25 RC lift on 33”
I have a 2000 2wd with a rough country 3.25” lift on 285/70r17 Falken widepeak mts. The lift is the spacer at the top of the front strut. I am having a problem where the geometry is such that when i hit a bump or “release pressure” on the passenger side the arm that houses the upper ball joint hits the coil spring. It is “riding” around and under the spring as it goes down and up. Front munroe quick struts are only a year old. I took it to alignment shop and the guy told me he thought it was the shocks and an alignment wouldn’t help that. The lower control arms were replaced same time as the shocks but I don’t know if alignment was ever done(was before i owned vehicle) any thoughts?

Welcome to the forum. 3.25" of lift is extreme for the front suspension in these trucks. New upper control arms are typically used for that much front lift. Most will also do the 1" front differential drop to help with the change in geometry up front to save the CV axle boots.

Didn’t do the lift myself. Bought it with the lift on it. Do you have an UCA that you recommend? Been a Jeep guy most of my life, so not in depth familiar with some of the Toyota specific quality brands. Thank you for the reply

SPC is a well known brand. Freedom Offroad is a cheaper one that seems to be ok.

Camburg and Total Chaos are good quality. Tuff country makes them as well. They will all feature similar design, the ball joint quality and design may vary. Perhaps some others on the forum have experience with these? I've got the Bilstein 5100's with only 2.25" of front lift, no issues with upper control arm making contact.

SPC might be your best bet. The Mevotech arms are supposed to be repackaged SPC if you want to save some cash.

Camburg, TC, etc fixed arms all say they're good for up to 3".
