Got my +2s installed today. It was brutal to get the old parts out. The lower bolts rusted/froze to the inner rubber bushing. Then those dang rubber bushings were fun. Absolutely agree, you need a ball joint press. Free rent from Oreillys. People said 27 mm, but that was slightly too small. It flared the edges and had to come from the other way. A 1 3/16 ratchet head was a perfect match. I guess it all depends on your equipment brand (you need it to push the rubber bushing out). Impact driver is super helpful, or get on up under the well and get a nice arm workout. My left side is going to hurt tomorrow. Got the impact driver and it was quick. I need to get a better pic, but the bed bounce is minimized as the harmonics must get messed up with the shackles. USPS tracking finally updated. Delivery is scheduled for Monday. CB+2 Order #1777 in case others are still waiting. My order was pretty late as well.

I bought it with the 5110’s in the front. They are on the 2nd setting which should be 1.71” lift in the front. The previous owner did not do anything to the back so the rake was close to even. The +2 Shackles, which look good and beefy, gives me 1.25” in the back. I don’t like the stock rake, but even was a bit too much. I like the rake now. I still don’t know why, but the bed bounce is better too. With the CAI I just installed, I was hauling on the freeway with minimal bounce and a nice throaty roar. It just gets better and better.

Bed Bounce Theory: this may not be true for everyone, but those with bad bed bounces that get fixed with Shackles, let us know if the lower shackle bolt was rusted/frozen into rubber bushing? My theory is that if it is frozen then the whole lower part of the shackle assembly is a fixed unit that bounces due to the rubber twisting and rebounding back. Kind of like a trampoline. See my pic above, it was rusted on solid. That would explain why exchanging that POS rubber bushing for the poly bushing works. Thoughts?

I meant the front shims (for the extra 1" lift in the front), not the bumper shims.

So, I just found out that my +3's will ship out today! I'm super excited, and can't wait to put them on. One thing I can't figure out is why nobody posted pictures of the way your truck looks with the shackles installed. I will be going 5100's top setting and 2 shims driver, 1 passenger with stock wheels 285 65 20.

Sweet pictures, keep them coming. I just found it interesting that after we receive our stuff the thread goes quiet. I think by posting pictures after are mods from this group buys it gives us the opportunity to show off our ride and give a little more publicity to our vendors who I'm sure put a lot of work into getting this done for us. Thanks in advance David!
