Clear corner lights for 2000 tundra exccess cab ?

Looking for those euro style clear corner lights for my 2000 tundra access cab , I’ve searched more then once and can’t find any one who still has them in stock
Does anyone custom make some from oem housing Or do the 4Runner ones work?
junkyards normally have one side busted out
please any suggestions or comments ,please help

 

I was interested in this too a while back. I did some searching, and found nothing. I'm not saying they aren't out here, but don't give up like I did.

Is the front left fender a slightly different white the rest?

Look into replacing the pads side headlight for even, clean, look, and improved light pattern. I think it is three, or four 10mm nuts to replace headlight.

What is the history of your truck?

my truck is salvaged title with 190k miles two wheel drive
was hit in that front driver fender
u could tell from the corner light was off a 8th inch
I’ll post some pictures ASAP of what it looks like now u will like it

Hey, most people tend to stay away from salvaged/rebuilt titles. As long as whomever you bought it from showed you pictures of the damage, and had a list of everything repaired... I wouldn't mind it.

I bought a rebuilt title 2014 chevy Cruze for my ex girlfriend. So uh... I've been in the same boat. Do not feel bad.

My drivers side fender is off slightly too from deer.

 

Clear corners for our trucks don't seem to exist anymore.

I nicknamed it stormtrooper cuz I was going for the white on black look , driverside tint came off In the cold needs to be replaced , had both the bumpers power coated black and waiting to get the fog lights wrapped orange or yellow , also have window guard in the back seat ready to put on after the tint is done ,there the kind that tuck into the weather trim, I Put the Bilstiens 5100s on And the Hellwig one ton kit on the rear leaf springs , makes the ride stiff and not as nice but not a big deal , waiting to find a good deal on some method rims with some used tires , 17’s give me a little more lift, stock upper control arms but pro comp uni ball are in the future, off to the exhaust shop in the next week or two wanted to sound mean, 190k miles interior is in great shape , going with a slim light bar here soon in the bottom grill

Finally someone made them again. Guys were selling their used cracked ones for $150 faster than hot cakes.

Now if I could figure out a way to open up my current set to paint them.

Pictures are links to the products. The light socket allows you to retain your parking lights with LEDs. If you just slap an led into the 3157 plug you'll have one or the other.

Parking lights with no turn signals or turn signals with no parking lights.

I have the light sockets, and the flasher relay.

I'd just need the clear corner lights, and the vleds switch back bulbs.


Turn signals are led in the front, and rear. Thanks to the 1157 conversion, I get to keep my parking lights.

 

Just got these in the mail today now I need to find time to install them. I may order the led conversion first but not sure.

 

Came with light sockets, which I was surprised about.

Looks like crummy injection mold on the socket. See the flash around the tab ring?

 

Yes I do , so it looks like I can cancel my order for the socket from Toyota ..? I put my corner lights on the shelf till the rest of the parts come I didn’t check the socket

 

I haven't tried them yet. Keep the TOY sockets coming in case these are fubar.

You may get the correct sockets. It is flea-bay after all... the housing does say 3157.

 

Hey guys looking for some input on this
I installed the new corner lights and the new relay and put those led switch backs in my turn signals work but not my day time running lights any ideas what it could be ?

 

After looking at tundra2 photo I think this might be the problem I dont think the tab on the side of the led touched the Contactor but if that was the case wouldn’t the blinker not work to?
