Cleaning TRD Cold Intake Filter Question

2017 Tundra Limited TRD Offroad

Fellow Tundra Owners:

I decided to clean my TRD filter today. I used K&N degreaser which took forever to remove the oil.

My question is has anyone applied K&N oil to their TRD filters? If so, are the results the same as using the TRD oil.
