First time doing a wax on the inferno,
Stripped the truck with dawn, clay bar from CC and I used their synthetic quick detailer for lube because summit was out of their actual clay luber.

I applied CC Extreme Top Coat with microfiber applicators in circles, shown in pic 2.
Let it sit for 15 minutes than buffed away. The truck was left with more swirls and minor scratches than I expected to see after the coat, making me think I may have missed something.

Can someone provide insight as to if I did something wrong or if I should add extra step next go around?

Overall, I am extremely happy with the color it brought out of the paint and it gave me that burnt orange look I was looking for.

I would recommend this thread. https://www.tundras.com/threads/ask-the-detailer.18408/ I had no idea what anything was when it came to proper washing until I found that thread. Still don't have the space to do it, but it's nice to know at least. The detailers in that thread are knowledgeable and if they don't know, they'll say so.
