What gift do you want to get this year? And what gift do you prepare for your family or friends?
Do you mind to share your Christmas list?
It troubles me every time when I need to give a gift or a surprise to someone. I hope people like me can get some ideas from this thread.
Christmas is coming soon, hope you everything is ready.

Me and the misses dont do gifts for Christmas. We buy each other things all year when we want.
We save the gift thing for our Grandchildren and kids(mostly the grandkiddies)

We have been doing the same thing for years, also don't buy for birthdays, anniversary, etc. We realized a long time ago it's just stupid to buy something just because you have to buy a gift. This is where the clothes with the tags still on them that you will never wear end up hanging in the closet until you end up donating it to Goodwill.
We do get our son stuff though.

If during the year i mention something i like. My wife either buys it for me or encourages me to buy it.
Same goes for her, we were out on my Waverunner one day and she said " someday i should get my own ski"
Within a few weeks i brought her to the Yamaha dealer to pick out her own.lol
    Love that women!

My wife and I don't exchange gifts. I we want something we get it. Our grand kids and her parents get a $50.00 check for birthdays and Christmas. The oldest grand kid doesn't get anything any more because my wife said if they can't acknowledge a gift with a simple thank you, no more. Like Azblue said clothes end up in a closet, money doesn't. Merry Christmas.

    hey tinny tinny,

beautiful puss you have there. no offense... :blahblah:

off topic, but here's ours. his name is floyd. named after pink floyd. he's a psychedelic cat with one blue eye, and one golden eye.

    to answer your question.

i am easy to buy for. anything for my tundra or harley's.

i don't have to buy for others', except the wife. i always try and find a 3 piece jewelry set, and give one piece at a time.

this has me covered for a year and a half. one for christmas, one for b-day, the last for christmas.

learned this "trick" to keep the wife happy from my old man.

Yes, women like a sense of ritual;)
People are so happy to get the gift from their loved one.
And we want to complain it is harder to give a gift to men.
Thanks for your sharing, maybe I can consider sending an electronic keyboard to my kid.
