Anyone had issue with them? Just spent quite a bit with them right before the 25% off sale and the shipment showed yesterday with 1/3 of the soap I bought all over everything in the box. I called, they asked for pictures to be sent which I did yesterday right after I spoke with them and now no response at all, not even an acknowledgement of receipt.

I had a positive experience with them based on a recommendation from a neighbor that owns a high end performance shop and uses them exclusively.

Hopefully they had a team outing and will get back to you on Monday!

Haven’t ordered from them directly aside from going in their store.
I’ve had their bottles busted from Amazon and they were replaced no questions asked.

I have personally never used them but know people that have. I would give them a chance sounds like the carrier was careless.

I would give them a call Monday. I've had nothing but a great experience with Chemical Guys.

I had 2 packs of microfiber towels that had issues and a bottle that was broke when I received it and they took care of me quickly.

When I ordered I put in an error on my shipping address & discovered once it was on the way. Contacted them & they corrected it enroute for me. Order arrived w/ no delay. Good customer service for me.

I've heard they have good products but they are a bit overhyped. Kind of like the fad of foaming your car to clean it....it looks cool but it doesn't clean as much as you think it would.

    Just to follow up:

Posted on their Facebook page and they got back to me Monday (it was Friday when I posted, wasn't expecting a response over the weekend). They assured me it was being forwarded to customer service. It will be a week tomorrow and no response via email, phone or anything. At this point I filed a Paypal claim, I will not be buying direct in the future if I buy from them at all again it will be on Amazon... much less hassle.

Had the same issue with an Adam's mystery box and they took care of the issue quick.

It's possible. I just saw it, knew it was a newish product, but wasn't sure how new it was.

Follow up to the follow up of the follow up:

Got a call today from Gene. Great guy, something happened with the email I sent with the images requested, it flagged them as a suspicious link. They’re looking into that on the tech side. He apologized as he just got the message from the media group that I sent via Facebook today which was sent last Friday and is taking that up with them. They are replacing the damaged product and sending jet seal as well for the inconvenience.

I polished my Mom car with CG V series polishing compound and found it really gums up the pad fast. Also found it takes a few tries in order to remove lights scratches in the paint. Stuff works well but seems it could work better and faster. What are you guys using?

Meguiars M105 for heavy cutting and M205 for light cut to finish polish depending on the pad
Even better IMO is carpro clear cut for cutting and carpro essence for polishing

I have tried CG V series or "optical grade" compound and polish and it's not very good.

@Pudge sent me some of the chemical guys compounds and it was so bad, I swapped to Meg's ultimate during the process. Not impressed at all with it and probably won't ever use again.

Definitely go with griots. I have their G9 polisher and some of their towels. I have used a few of their things but not polish yet. I hear they make great polish, compound, and sealants. Their top line is BOSS I believe and gets great reviews.

Great might have to make a change. CG makes great soaps and clay bars, but I think I will stop there. Time to try some different products. I do like CG leather cleaner and conditioner.

You can't go wrong with griots. I lean towards carpro stuff, and optimum. Gtechiq makes some good stuff as does meguiars. There's almost too much to choose from, but chem guys and Adam's are low on my list.
