So today I take a ride with the wife to Wally World. I break off just to be nosey about what new products they may have. Low and behold I see various C.G. Products. Car soap, Waterless wash, interior detailer, leather conditioner and a couple of others.
    I was surprised...

Is this a good thing? I've never heard of them. Quality stuff?

They make some good stuff. They get knocked for having too many of some products, like car soaps , waxes.
They’re a pretty big name in the detailing world...

If I get a winch on my 2WD, can I overland with the BASTRDs and SGU?!
I went to Wal*Mart Monday specifically to check for any of the car wash options you gurus recommend. I picked up a bottle of CG Citrus clear hydrophobic free to CR car wash, which was all they had. Took it to purchase and the Auto Accesorries Manager told me, "that's not our product." I assured him it was one of several on shelf, and he rang it up. Then told me it was one of several new products added that morning.

:thumbsup: Who says Bammers and Barners can’t help each other?
interesting discussion you had with the Auto Acc. manager... C.G. Is a BIG name in auto products so I was surprised to see them at Walmart.
With that said, I have one soap in particular I like using. It’s made by Auto Finesse and it’s infused with a citrus cleaner. They are from England and sadly it’s no longer available here. When I run out, I’m gonna give the stuff you picked up a try, Sunnier...

Cool, I'll look forward to your review! One of us goes to England about once a year. Let us know if, after trying available alternatives, you "need" the Auto Finesse.

chemical guys is made by adam's which is professional product. I switched from using all meguiars to all chemical guys last summer after being told about them by a professional detailer who used adam's products for years. I purchased everything on Amazon and have been very happy with the results.

No problem. Let me know. We've brought proper made in England "china", Marmite, Lucasade (before the formula changed), malt cakes, Kinder eggs... Pretty much willing to help with any crazy English product not available here. Especially for people like you who go out of the way to help others.

If you're looking for a good (Chemical Guys) wax from WalMart, it's unlikely you'll find it on the shelves. I've seen some posts on other sites where they had Butter Wet Wax on the shelf, which is good if you prefer a wax that does not last very long. If you're a paste wax person, go with Petes 53 from CG....liquid wax....pick up some Collinite 845.

Sealant... Actually how you prep and decon your surface will aid in the longevity of your LSP, Last Step Protection. You may want to look to a sealant or try Collinite Insulator Wax, Megs NXT Tech 2.0.,or some others.

I used a product that said it had a sealant and carnuba. Water beaded for about 3 weeks. I gauge how good my wax job is by the water beading. Which sealant products are recommended.

Some of the above plus Megs Ultimate Liquid Wax is a hybrid that Guys here have had great success with. Klaase makes a great sealant, aka the Klaase Twins.
Collinite is a wax but has the longevity of a sealant.

You’ll find some of the recommendations on this page...
    https://www.detailedimage.com/Sealant-C15/

Big thing, as mentioned, is your prep process and wash maintenance routine.

I've gotten 6 months protection with the combo of Meguiars Ultimate Liquid Wax topped with Pinnacle Souveran Signature Series II paste wax....If you want a little cut plus long-lasting protection...McKees 360 is an excellent choice

I got a great deal on this set at the Chemical Guys grand opening not too far from my house. I had to touch up a few chips on the tank and fairing of my bike. Primed, painted and wet sanded the chips. Used this to buff out the sanding marks. Worked like a charm for me.

    Right tool for the job!

It was expensive, and little at WalMart is, so I figure it's probably the good stuff.
