Is your frame and stuff already clean and you're wanting to spiff it up or are you wanting to remove grime? For nasty stuff I just use brake cleaner.

Been using it for years. It’s not a cleaner though. It’s a dressing. You need to apply it to a clean, oil free surface or you’re just wasting your time and doing it no justice. Ide post pictures but the site won’t let me for reason.

Frame. Suspension. Leaf springs. Axle. Anything black under the truck, I’ll apply it haha. I buy it by the gallon.

I’ve tried to post some underbody pictures with it applied. But it’s coming up error every time. I’ll try again later. It’s good stuff though.

So you could do brake cleaner first, wipe then apply that stuff?

No. Brake cleaner will etch the paint on the frame and it’ll look horrible. Been there. Done that. Wound up having to sand and spray paint it again. Just clean with a mild degreaser or car wash soap.

Danman34 thank you for getting pics up.

How is the finish once applied? Is it sticky or does it dry?

It looks great. I’m gonna go read up on it.

I buy it by the gallon as well. Phenomenal product. Every time I detail the undercarriage or more often the wheel wells, the truck looks cleaner than it was when new. They also make a cleaning product called Nonsense invisible cleaner, it pairs perfectly with barebones as it gets the parts clean so that barebones will look great.

It’s maintains the satin finish. I wouldn’t say it dries completely, as it’s oily property is what keeps the dirt, grime and keeps it somewhat hydrophobic. But it’s definitely not an oily residue that will run off or anything like that. It stays where you apply it.

Just finished my truck , man this thing is awesome , truck looks brand new again .
I did spray it on a rag though and wipe the whole frame and suspension instead of spraying it , much cleaner especially if you are doing it in your garage .
Make sure you buy a spray bottle because the one that came with it is junk
