Has anyone been there? Thinking about making a trip out there in a couple/few weeks. Looks to be an easy day trip.

Anyone else down for going to check it out?

It'll be after I work nights and before we go to Navarre Fla to link up with my Sis and drive up to SC for my boys graduation.

 

Thinking maybe the 21st of September. Any takers?

 

I’ve never driven it, but fish the canyon below. The lake drive is easy, think it’s just a dirt road up to the top. Still pretty scarred and void of trees up there near the lake from the fire...

 

I haven't been up that side of HWY 67 in 8 to 10 years. Thanks for the info.

 

Yea, drove through there last year and it’s so strange looking in some spots.

 

Is it worth the drive or look for something else?

Nice if you like shit-your-pants cliffs when you look out your window, it’s far above tree line so tons of broken rock. You’re on top of the world...when it’s open...

 

I'd be down for this. Aslong as it doesn't clash with my trip to tuscon, end of October.
