Good ol' Doug. I love his videos. But it's a Chrysler product so I'll never trust it.

Incidentally I checked these at the auto show and I initially thought it was a Chevy. I didn't like it at all. The seats were really uncomfortable.

When talking about the interior trim, he says: "it is a very nice look, it almost looks like a chalkboard...".

It's got some nice things on it. But it's still a Dodge.

There are things on the 2011 ran bighorn that mis on the tundra.
    Leather wrapped steering wheel
    One touch up/down windows
    Auto headlights.
Those were included on the bighorn package which is similar to a sr5 upgrade.

Don’t get me wrong I really like my tundra but I think for a upgraded package it should have a little more.

I drove rams from 94 - 2013. Very few problems. Found them to be pretty good vehicles. The 94 I kept the longest of any truck. Sold it with 150,000 miles when I bought the 2002 ram.

saw a brand new limited 1500 hemi last night at the pump. looks very nice.

    1. front end looks better
    2. side decals are better placement wise
    3. that 12" screen reminds me of the tesla (even though its a 17" on a tesla) wonder how that is to use
    4. nice oem powered steps
    5. silver color looked good on it

nice old female doctor walks up and drives off. I think its a big improvement from the older versions, think it will sell well.

Love all the technology it has...miss Apple CarPlay and will remedy this next year in my Tundra. Still, hate that we are so far behind tech wise but I’ll trade that for reliability every day.

Hah, I actually like the 2017 Tundra seats. The only truck seat I've found to be more comfortable is Ford.

I have had Chrysler products before and just can't see myself doing it again. But, it is a nice looking truck and probably have the best ride quality out of all the options on the market. A few guys here at work have RAMs and they keep replacing them with new RAMs because they are just fan boys. They do have to go in the shop all the time for repairs, and these guys think it is normal for stuff to break. They think I lie to them when I tell them my 2002 Tacoma was 16 years old and I did not spend one penny on repairs.

Having worked on many Chrysler vehicles, I'd be hard pressed to own one. The Ram trucks are a slight exception, I've seen quite a few go for a long time. Some of our company trucks (oilfield) are 1/2 ton Rams that seem to hold up pretty well. All that being said, I wouldn't spend my own money on one. Also, the knob style gear selector is the ghey-est thing I've ever seen on a truck. Period.

The nice thing is that a limited is 65k per the video.. after Ram does a 25k rebate it will be tundra priced and they will give 0% financing for 7 yrs

I guess I was one of the lucky ones, I traded a 2011 Ram Laramie Longhorn that I bought new(traded in at 132K on the clock)for the Tundra I have now. My family has been staunch Dodge/Ram truck buyers since the early 1960's and I bought the Tundra to break with tradition which more than ruffled a few feathers. My former Ram had regular maintenance preformed on it and was very reliable and was still running strong the day it got traded.

I think it looks pretty nice for a ram. Huge improvement. I really like the versions with all colormatched parts. Interior looks good to. But alas is still a ram.
