Hey everyone, want to see if anyone else has had this issue and if so, what the diagnosis and cost was.
While driving the check engine light started flashing, and I noticed if I kept the accelerator down for longer that 2 seconds the truck would vibrate/rattle. Then this morning the truck wouldnt start. I pulled the battery and tested, it was dead. put in a new battery and the truck start but it took a second (which is very unusual) and then the check engine light and traction light were both on. And while running the trucking was lightly shaking. I killed it, started it again (same slow and struggle start) and same effect with the lights.

So my thought is to drive it or have it towed to the one mechanic in town I trust, but I am trying to prepare myself as it is the holidays and spending a lot will not be fun.

    Thank you!

Need to get the code for the CEL. Just about any auto parts store can do it for you if you don’t have a reader.

A flashing CEL is typically an ignition issue. If you're having this problem, you can buy a scan tool for $30 and pull the codes. Without the codes you won't magically find an answer on the internet.
