The Rock Warrior was released in '09 and I've never seen one without a backup camera, for example...

My aunt's nephew (related by marriage) has an '07 TRD that does not have a backup camera.

Mine was an SR5, and a few friends of mine had earlier years with cameras in the tailgate, and showed up on the navigation screen. Mine showed up on the rear view mirror.

Mine is 2010 SR5 with the Off-Road package (which included tow package, among other things). It did not come with the backup camera. I installed a Pioneer camera with Pioneer HU (mine had also just regular radio without screen).

On earlier 2nd gens the TRD package was separate from tow package. Also, I said "prewired", not "comes with".

100% positive because it’s all she bitches about. It has a shell on it, the kind with no windows, and when she’s at cell towers in the middle of the woods in the middle of night, she can’t see crap.

Sort of. It’s her company vehicle and we have another car that’s “hers”

My old truck an 07 SR5 didn’t come with a back up camera installed but was prewired so i just added one when I put a new head unit in. Plug and play at the tailgate but had to wire in an RCA at the A Pilar for the head unit.

    May as well be...

I've been posting pictures of Sequoias for like six months! They have the same drivetrain and chassis, they're pretty much the same body style from the front doors forward, and they have the same dashboard...

Sequoia is to Tundy what Tahoe is to Silverado and Expedition is to F150!

If it makes you feel any better, this lifelong Chevy guy loves his Tacoma so much that if he ever hits the lottery (or balances his bank account) he will buy a Tundra!

I can't wait to get my hands on a Tundra and put a ground-pounding stereo in it!

    :headbang:

Oh, and you said most of the women on this site view my thread...?

It's worth noting that I'm single again (long story)!

Would it be possible to turn a 2018 long bed TRD OR into a PRO? Suspension swap, etc, etc...?

Well. You should know, none of us are single. So we'll just keep you company vicariously. And we'll be really happy for you, when you get a Tundra. (But we know you love your Tacoma.)

I'd rather have a mentally stable girlfriend than a Tundra (you have no idea how hard the former is to find)!

8' long bed, or 6.5 standard? You can do everything to transform any 3rd gen Tundra into a Pro except the bedstamp.

8' long bed, and I'd just cut sections with the bed stamps out of a 6.5' bed and weld them into place on the 8' bed...

I believe I saw that you can even replace that. Replace each side fender and it will have the pro stamp. I think each side panel is like 1400$ though
