    Maybe decriminalization then...

Nonviolent stoners don't deserve prison time and felony records for possessing more than a certain amount...

    Yes, illegal...

I don't think some average Joe (or Jane) deserves a felony because they have a large amount of pot in their home or vehicle...

It doesn't mean they're a dealer. They might very well be buying in bulk!

I am a law-abiding citizen with very strict ethics and morals.

However, I got in trouble for some of the dumbest shit in middle school and high school (including a 2-day suspension for "assaulting" a bully in 8th grade). This has led to me being very anti-authority.

Yeah it mostly does mean that they are dealing or transporting if they have large quantities. Doubt they are keeping it all for themselves.

    @4x4_Angel

    Funny thing...

Really slow night tonight and the valet service packed it in early...

These two guys showed up in the red Tundy, paid the $5 fee, and went off to get drunk. It was so slow my friend Uri who is lot manager made them park it themselves. He assumed it was just a regular red Tundy...

I come back from running errands and tell Uri that this is no ordinary pickup truck. We walk over to the truck, and he shines his flashlight through the window. I proceed to tell him what a "1794" really is, and he immediately says he wishes he'd gotten the keys from the guy because he kinda wanted to take it for a joyride...

My dad looked out one of the upstairs windows and saw what appeared to be a dog in the catch basin behind our house. I caught a glimpse of the dog and believed it to be an English Bulldog. I ran out the back door and immediately began calling and whistling. My neighbor's dog started barking, but the Bulldog ignored him and ran to me. The dog had a harness, but no ID tags. At this point, I didn't even know if it was a he or a she, but the dog willingly followed me up the back steps. Like me, my dad pretty much fell in love with the dog on sight, and it was at that point we discovered he was a male...

These are the pictures I took in our screened-in porch, with the intention of posting them to Facebook in an attempt to find the owner...

My dad was driving his company truck today since the Pilot is in the shop, and the dog was very eager to get in the truck. He'd been out in the cold for a while, so while we were driving around trying to see if we could find anybody who looked like they were looking for a dog, he positioned himself on the floor of the truck where the heat was blowing on him...

A short time later, he decided he wanted to ride between my dad and me...

It was after 5pm at this point, which meant all regular vets would be closed. Luckily, there's an emergency vet on Easton Road that I drive past everyday. I still thought he was a $2,000+ English Bulldog, so I figured he had to have a chip. The trauma center was open, and the vet scanned his chip. Unfortunately, the chip had not been registered. In the meantime, my dad was on the phone with the local police, and they were about to take the dog to a shelter for the night. Luckily, the vet called the microchip company, gave them the serial number of the chip, and was able to get the owners' contact info.

She contacted the owners, and they ended up beating the police there. My dad called the police again, thanked them, and told them the crisis was averted...

So, the dog's owners showed up, and they were an older couple from Doylestown Borough. So, it turns out the dog's name is Bentley and he's about two years old. He is also not a purebred English Bulldog, just as the vet suspected upon looking at him. He's actually a Boxer/Bulldog mix.

Apparently, they'd taken Bentley to a park about two miles from my parents' house and let him run around off the leash. Bentley saw a deer, took off after the deer, and disappeared (I knew a Bulldog couldn't have made it from Doylestown to where I live as quickly Bentley did). Bentley's owners had been looking for him over an hour by the time the vet called them.

Bentley's owners were very grateful and wanted to pay us. My dad and I said no. They wanted our address so they could send us a bottle of wine. Again, we said no...

Just seeing him safely reunited with his owners was reward enough!

Here are some pictures I took of Bentley in the vet's office...

There was a kitten in a cage in the waiting room, and Bentley wanted to go investigate. Bentley was not the slightest bit aggressive toward the cat...

This truck is registered in New Jersey, Pennsylvania's neighbor. Unlike Pennsylvania, which only requires one rear-mounted license plate, New Jersey requires front and rear license plates...

As such, I had to blur out the license plates on Photoshop before posting these pictures!

As the son of a Navy vet, I may be a bit biased, but this is how I feel...

I saw a signature on Tacoma World that said "If you can't stand behind our troops, then you should stand in front of them."

This statement pretty much reflects how I feel...
