If your considering a certified is there really a point to buying the extended warranty? I see that the certified gets a powertrain up to 100k miles. I'm wanting my next tundra to have a long warranty period as i plan on putting a lot of miles on it, but don't want to spend money i don't need to. So what is your opinions, new with long warranty or certified with or without?

It's really up to your budget the powertrain is covered but so much electrical and computer components on these new trucks which are not covered and those are expensive but at the same time buying a tundra you won't have to worry about stuff braking down

If they offer you extended warranty at a said price tell them you would consider it if it wasn't so expensive. This situation happened to me and they gave me an "employee rate."

It had over 50. And extended it out for another 90 for bumper to bumper.

Just keep that. You can’t buy the OEM warranty anymore and I’m not sure I would trust third party.

My cpo warranty paid for my cam tower leak. Well worth it. Aip seems to be the other expensive thing that can go wrong.
