Ceramic Pro. Do not install a ceramic coating yourself. Find a reputable shop to do the work. If any mistakes are made the first time, it’ll cost more than a professional coating to just fix the bad coat.

But otherwise, there’s quite a few out there. I install CP, they are the most well known, dm if you have questions!

I have CQuartz Finest and it was installed by a professional. My first question is how do you maintain your finish? Do you go thru auto car washes??

There are two ways of doing it....yourself or by a professional. Look to spend $500 for the coating and then add in the deconning process, correcting , and prep so it will be around a $1k witha pro. If you talk with a professional, ask them if they offer the consumer coating or just the pro level.

I did my wife’s car and others with the consumer ones. As @DecalsByDesign eluded to, you may be better off having someone do it for you, depending on your level of detailing and correcting. There is a process to it and really good lighting is a must. It’s not like putting on a wax or sealant.

@driverdog , Jim has done them along with others.

So many companies are out there now but we have James from Car Pro/Sky’s the Limit here so I will tag him. @Sky's the Limit Car Care

Well said! I’m under the impression that you are the guru here .
I honestly only work with wraps and ceramic coatings for wraps. I do a little bit of paint stuff but it is not my main work.

I wouldn’t say guru but you suggestion was spot on when it comes to installing it.

I have read enough stories that folks complain about coating failure only to find out a step or two was missed. It can be a bit trying to install, especially when you’ve never done it before...:D

Quite honestly exhausting too. Controlled environments help so much with it drying before you can level it. There’s a big network for Ceramic Pro, if you give me your location, I can try to get a hold of an installer.

Thanks. Actually a guy up the road from me is an installer of Ceramic Pro. His truck is wrapped nicely as big advertising billboard. LOL!!!

I don’t mind doing it since I’m looking to go pro at some point.

Lol I was more referring to @Blackout for recommendation. I would do mine myself as well. I’ll be going to the city in the next few months to get trained.
