When someone sat in my back seat I would get a horrible creaking sound. I lubed the hinge, no success. I finally determined if I loosed the front bolt it went completely away. So I put electrical tape under the washer and reinstalled. Creaking sound returned, put grease between seat track and body, creaking sound returned, put electrical tape between washer and bolt, creaking returned. Solution I left the bolt loose or finger tight. Unbelievable it makes so much noise when tightened. hope this helps

Do you have leather? Mine creaked and it was the back rubbing on the rear wall of the truck. I put some furniture sliders on it and the noise went away.

Yea i had that sound but quickly solved with some felt between leather and truck. This is a creaking vs rubbing. Thanks anyways!! Didn't make any noise unless someone sitting in it and moving around as truck bounces.
