    New member here second post. So do any of y'all collect the cartridges that you would never fire unless shtf day was here. Purely for the fascination of development , special purpose, ie: tracer, armor piercing, spotter, incendiary, salvo, spiw, triplex, tear gas , gyrojet.......... I could go on.     Nice collection there. I have a pretty good collection also. It’s a little hobby amongst others to collect obsolete and odd ball cartridges.

    Not really a cartridge collector here, but do have a few oddballs. One is the 8mm Lebel, older French round. I do reload for it, cases are fairly easy to find.

    Thanks it sure is Fieldnstreamer and sourdough44. Sourdough can you show pictures of the Lebel cartridge headstamp . These are some i recently picked up in a pile of other cartridges.IMG_20200710_130133752.jpg A mix or 8x50r, 8x52r and 8x56r.

    When I get home in two days I can post pictures of the Lebel cartridge, gun too. Most of my cases are modern production though, better for reloading.
