If anyone did this what mfg did you go with, color and material? There's only a few mfgs that make vehicle carpets and it's less cost to buy from them when compared to their distributors prices.

I bought this trk not long ago with water log stains along the outer sides and other various wear stains mixed in to the original light grey carpet. Am looking at darker colors that will not easily show stains as time goes, so slate, charcoal or black color will replace the old light grey carpet.

Different fabrics to choose from are many from the OEM Pile Cut carpet. For example there's Truvette that's same low cut material as OEM Pile Cut but is a thicker close woven material, Essex is also same material as Pile Cut and is woven thicker/plush as Truvette, however, material height cut is longer X 3 or 4 thickness, Loop is same woven height as OEM Cut Pile yet looks to be a thicker weave and more durable to stains and cleaning than original fuzzy material.

Just trying to get opinions of what others have done with swapping out their carpets and how it's lasted to everyday wear and tear use.

You would think they do with the selection offered. It's worth a call to them to ask if they make a carpet for your truck. They might say they do!

I've used JCWhitney many times in the past, and they are usually pretty reasonable on price.
I havent looked to see if they have 1st gen Tundra carpets, but I'd be willing to bet they do.

I've also bought carpet by the yard at big box or flooring stores and just done it myself.
