What are you guys using for a good reference for vehicle values? I'm looking to move up to a 3/4ton truck and trying to knock down some figures for my truck and a 2500hd to base off of. I've shopped around various dealers and values seem to vary on both trucks.

For new cars I use TrueCar, Edmunds and Costco for researching what a particular model is selling for in my area. For my Tundra the Costco price was at the low-middle of what people in my area were paying but it was zero hassle.

Amazing how all these sites vary in prices.. trying to knock down a good trade in figure for my truck but seems like a broad range.

Cargurus- $23572 lowest figure of the bunch

    Edmunds- $26108

    Nada- $27575-$29025

KBB-$25115-$27356 excellent and 24651-26968 very good

Looking like middle of the road is around 26k.

Based off all those sites the truck I'm looking at 2016 Chevy 2500hd crew cab 4wd w/t 19612 miles, is actually priced well. dealer had it listed at $33399 and offered $32989. I was thinking $31k but I guess I'm off after checking those sites. Values are..

Cargurus- Instant market value-$34950/ great deal $31709

    Kbb- $32096-36371, fair deal $34,234

    Edmunds- $33540

    Nada $34225
