You know, the headlights that come on and stay on as soon as I start the motor, even when the main headlights are switched off. Is there any way to bypass them, turn them off? I feel like a hoser driving all day with headlights on.

I think there is a drl resistor under the hood on the drivers side fender you can unplug to disable it.

Do you live in Canada? I don’t know why this would bother you either way. DRLs were put on vehicles for a reason.

It's been a law for long time. Cars without the DLR looks funny now.

OP, if it makes you feel any better I run all my headlights all the time. It improves visibility and reduces accidents. This is why motorcycles have had always on headlights since the 70s. :canada:

You sound like you are correct to me.

I was driving beside an ass-clown today, dark, early morning and he had no DRL and no headlights on. That guy was an ass, not you.

^^^This is one of the mysteries of the day. How is it possible for a modern car to be driven in the dark w/out it being lit up like a Christmas tree? The damn car does absolutely everything for the phone tapping nut behind the wheel except turn on the lights. This is why USDOT requires big reflectors on the backs of all cars, because there's a good chance the lights won't be on at night.

Yeah. I disabled my DTR last Summer after almost 20 years. I have less people pulling out in front of me now. I think the DTR makes them see me better which safely allows them to douche out in front of me at slowing my Mojo. Now they hesitate before pulling out.

Also, why cant Headlights come on with Windshield wipers? Seems an obvious thing but nobody seems to get it.
