Love the warm, but I washed my wife's Honda this afternoon. Six minutes of driving later it needed a wash again.

Just back from a back country hut trip. As usual, lacking pictures except for the rustic kitchen, a whiskey bar, and a moon dog which none of us could ever recall seeing in our lives.

Weirdly enough woke up to a moon dog this morning at 5:15 am went out to light fire in shop. I'm in
Ladysmith on the island, I was just happy it wasn't freakin' raining again or should I say still. Beautiful way
to start the day. I was looking at it as I grilled my breakfast steak.

Sounds like a breakfast with a view for sure. Just steak? Hope there was some eggs to dip it in…

Usually steak early. Then 4 eggs about 2 hrs later. Steak for dinner. I like to keep it simple.

a ring around the moon. I put a pic of one a few posts up, pretty faint. My phone was made some of the pics look brighter than it really was, similar to how northern light pics are exaggerated in on a phone.

Do you know how it got the name dog moon? Would that first pic be a "double moon dog all the way" (because there is 2 rings) lol

I assume it's similar to the naming of sun dogs but that's all I've got.

Nope, opposite now. Started the carnivore in June. Lost 35 lbs. Just maintaining now. I could afford
to lose 10 more, but most important is what I don't eat. Simply put - whole foods. If it's not a food ie: steak,
meat, eggs, spinach, single ingredient food I don't eat it. Coffee, room temp water, milk. No alcohol ( 11+yr now )
I don't even see drink, junk food, bakery, deli aisles anymore. No sauces with multiple ingredients. I'll eat a $20 steak
but I won't spend $6 on chips and dip. Food costs are stupid but we don't throw wasted crap out and we don't
have a pantry full of diabetes and carcinogens. Canadian dairy standards need cleaning up. Did you know they
feed Canadian cows palm oil so the butter won't go rancid etc, etc, I don't know much but I am and feel healthier.

Whatever works for ya! Pretty sure I could eat steak every day, its the tastiest meat IMO.
The thought of drinking a glass of milk makes me gag a bit… chocolate milk is good as a treat but it gives me cramps. Cream in coffee yes please but no sugar. Dr said coffee actually strips a bit of calcium from your bones which I did not know…

Weird one. Since I quit drinking and it took a couple of years, but not like I spent a week in India like it used to be.
Alcohol really messes guts up. Now, healthiest I've ever been in memory. On days I'm stuck eating restaurant
I notice right away later on. I have a couple of cheat foods, cause I'm already close enough to psychopathic insanity
and my guts do adjust ok, but its' tested stuff. Ice Cream - cause it's a food group. Couple of other things.
