Will be doing a timing belt job soon and will change out the cam and crank seals. I ordered online and received my cam seals and the brand is "Stone"(made in Japan). Are these OEM?

Here is a pic of @theblurry1 cam seal replacement which looks just like the ones I put in on my truck. I do not remember ‘Stone’ being written on anything anywhere on my Crank or Cam Seals.

Did your seals come in a Toyota Baggy? Where did you order?

Parts like that, hard to get at seals, etc. I always go to Toyota directly to make sure I get real OEM. Good idea to check now.

If I search for a Husqvarna chain saw carburetor on Amazon, they will provide an array of Chinese brands of that carburetor that all look identical to the original (not made by Husqvarna). All will be priced well below the Husqvarna price. Reviews may vary widely.

When shopping Amazon, look for descriptions that say "Replacement for Toyota XXXXX-XXXXX", or "Replaces OEM part", or similar. When you see that, it is definitely a knock-off part. Restrict your ordering to an official Toyota dealer if you want the parts to be genuine Toyota. In the case of Aisin or Denso, those will be the exact same as Toyota's part because they supply Toyota.

In the case of oil seals, National is a well-known brand when there is an interchangeable seal commercially available. Stone is not a brand of seal I know, and it doesn't sound Nippon to me (Made in Japan?).

Great question, I ordered mine straight from Toyota and I actually think it came in a Stone bag. Make sure to apply grease.

Ishino/Stone manufactures gaskets for many oem applications, and have for a very long time. They also produce them for non oem replacement parts, same thing just cheaper usually. Good stuff.
