Hello folks. As some of y’all know my wife is wanting a camper. I have very much trying to talk her out of it. I have ask questions on here before and got help. Very sorry if my questions is dumb but I have know idea. This will be for just me and my wife. My truck is lifted 6 inch and don’t know hope more towing I lose with that. I have 295/65/20 tires. I have stock gears. I have ordered springs helps like @Mnorris1206 has. What size camper? Single or tandem? Weight of camper? Do I need a new hitch and sway bar on the rear? Or Trade mine in on another truck? TRD ? I will be mostly in the mountains. Any help please!!! Wife wants to pull the trigger this week I think. Thanks

I would think that you will be fine to tow whatever you want, just try to stay around or under the 7000lb dry weight range. The lift shouldn't bother, you can get a drop hitch to correct the hitch height. When you get the hitch set up . The camper and the truck should both sit level. If the front of the camper is too high or too low it will not tow well, and you will be looking into 2500 or 3500 models from other manufacturer. A proper hitch set up is key with these trucks

This 100% but as you know I'm on a 6" lift as well. My camper is 30' and roughly 5200#s dry weight it pulls great with the 35s I would look at ultra light campers aluminum construction for sure
