So I’ve been looking into the idea of switching out my undercover flex for some type of camper shell. One thing that I like about not having a shell is the fact that I can roll the window down and clear the can with fresh air pretty quickly. Can anyone give some insight as to if this works at all with a shell? Thanks in advance

Yeah still works the same. No issues. Bonus if your shell has a front sliding window, almost all do.

Seems to work fine with my Snugtop. Definate change in airflow when the back window goes down even with the front window of the canopy closed.

Not sure where you live OP but here in the desert it's 105.

With the shell on (my shell doesn't have a slider window) I can leave the truck rear slider wide open and not worry about anyone getting in. This really helps keep the cab cooler when parked at work all day.
