So I've got this pair of camburg uniball uca's that came with a suspension set up that I purchased used. I'm not using them and plan to sell but in the process of cleaning them up noticed that the edge of the bottom uniball sleeve fitting on one side has a small portion on the edge sheared off. It does not inhibit the uniball rotation at all and the uniball is solid with no play. Supposedly they have about 10k mi on them. Anyone have concernes? Just want some opinions before I try to sell them...not trying to bone anyone.

Hmm...never seen something like that before. I've got no clue.

Well shit, I'll have to sell them for at least $1 so I can write them off as a loss next year but shipping might be $500 or so, no local pick up...:notsure:

It happens when people trying to tighten the bolt when the spacers aren't seated and the uniball is articulated. Seen it happen quite a few times.

Doesn't look like a problem as far as function or strength. If it bothers buyer they can buy a new spacer.

Only thing I could figure was it might happen if it came loose and articulated. They ended up in my possession used so for once I can say I didn't screw something up...any concern with function? Coming from a professional any insight would be appreciated, thanks in advance.

It will eat up the teflon on that section of the bearing.
