Where I hunt in CO my bull tag is over the counter but my cousin is joining me this year and drew a muley tag, so he's happy.

Looks like I got a buck deer license in GMU 99, haven’t got the email on antelope yet. I did get my preference points for elk, bear, and moose as well.

Got both Buck and Bull that I put in for. Used my Pref points. Missed hunting last year. I was a bit sick. Not too concerned about bagging a Buck...Gravy...Getting that that big Bull this year...Odds are in my favor. Late hunt. Should be snow up where I go in the high country.... My time....:infantry:GMU 38.... Big ass herd and I have access to private land with a spring at 10.6K ft....

When I lived in Orygun from 1965 to 1978.............no draw. You could hunt anywhere in the state. Hint..........Steens Mountains if you want to bag YUGE bench bucks (muley/white tail hybrids....)

I did not draw elk rifle or black powder or deer. Looks like it is up to my son to fill the freezer in 7/8, unless I can have success OTC. I am not sure this point thing is worth it. I can't eat the horns.

Yup, for the low cost of $661 for a bull, and $496 for a cow. Yikes!

I'll have to look at the map and see where you're at. We're in between elk and sheep mountains and corral peaks. We drop camp about 8 miles in on horseback for 3rd rifle so I don't run into many other guys lol.

I am glad I live in IA. Just take a weekend to bow hunt, usually drop a couple every year. Then take one or two out shotgunning. All tags OTC.

Seems cheaper than Washington out of state cost. Everything is 10x the amount of a resident. And where the good elk is, you have to draw for branch antler. I wouldn't come here for out of state.

Not Colorado but, I got drawn for multiseason deer here in Washington. Normally you have to pick a method and that's it. This year I get to archery, muzzleloader, and modern firearm hunt this year. I am excited. Still waiting on draw results to post late July.

I've been going since '04. We go thru a guide and use his horses and tent so we just pack in our gear and food but he takes the horses back to the guided camp so we hunt on foot. We hunt the full nine days and usually go 2 for four, occasionally one for four and our best is three for four a couple of times. I love it but not sure how much longer I'll be doing it the way we've been doing it. It's my dad, two uncles and I, occasionally a cousin or my brother but my dad is 71 and my uncles are 75 and 76. We hunt hard and age is starting to become a reality and they're pretty whooped by the end.
