Plans are to do a DIY install of front coilovers and rear shocks. However, I might not have enough time to complete the job before heading on a road trip.

Looking for recommendations in Calgary (or Airdrie/Cochrane) who can do the install and alignment for a reasonable price.

    thanks in advance!

Krave Automotive. They are the Toyota specialists in town.

Thanks Mountainpete - I contacted Krave before for a quote on the suspension swap, they wanted ~$900 with an alignment to just for the labour to swap out and install completely assembled suspension. Kal-tire was ~$700 tax-in based on book times.

Ironically for specialists, they were quoting book times.

Try Balance Auto. They do lots of Toyotas and I've always been happy with them. Just had a level kit put in on a different brand but still happy with results.

greengs - Actually I called Balance Auto prior to deciding to go to a small indy shop. Balance Auto wanted almost the same as Krave. I ended up getting it done at the small indy shop for about 1/2 the cost of Kal-Tire with the alignment included.

greengs - The place is a small indy shop right beside Dynasty Auto Glass in the complex at 38th Ave NE -> HS Exhaust & Auto Master. There's also a sign on it that still says ANA Tire & Service, but I believe that was the prior business in that location. The owner's name is John, an auto enthusiast himself and I think only takes 1-2 clients a day.

There is a shop right beside Krave, it’s called FunX Automotive. He’s very reasonable but also very busy with custom builds. 1C8CC3E3-5CB2-47AC-88BE-AD40FBA98460.jpg

JP21 - thanks for that lead. I'll definitely have to check them out the next time I don't have enough time for a DIY.
