One of the issues I have with this new Tundra is down cabin noise. Drivers upper door needs adjusting and that will fix one but the other is evading me. Hoping someone may have experienced this that can offer up some suggestions.

I have some noise coming from drivers front lower windshield area that is starting to drive me bonkers. Smooth roads ok but any potholes and there is this slight snapping noise. It almost seems like it is coming from the plastic shield under the wipers but hard to tell ad the sound is travelling through the glass. Hoping a quick fix to avoid yet another trip to the dealer for a month old truck.

Anyone who is thinking about a new tundra, wait a year. Never will I get a new model after a redesign. Ever. QC on this new truck is sub par.

I have read some peoples windshield install was a little off at the base and thus having noise etc there. May want to look at the areas where it’s sealed and mounted if you. I’m not sure how that area looks as I haven’t seen one in person yet

Check the A Pillar inner plastic trim piece(under the Oh shit handle)... Mine was making a noise like you are describing. I took it up and reinstalled so it wasn't snug up against the windshield and is now silent.

It is the windshield. It has to come out and then reinstalled with a new seal. While driving if pushing out on windshield the noise goes away.

I have taken my A pillar drivers side panel and the clicking noise is still there. Definitely worse with the cold temperatures. I tend to agree that the windshield is the culprit. I took my Tundra to a facility that replaces windshields but they mentioned that if I have them remove the windshield and it breaks it’s on me. They wouldn’t touch it unless they got the Ok from Toyota. With windshields on short supply I could be without a truck for sometime. My 1794 has HUD display and that would also require calibration after the windshield is reinstalled. Is the calibration done by the dealer or by the windshield installer?

I'd take it back to Toyota have them completely disassemble it and put it back together sober this time

Took my Tundra to the dealer to have some TSB done to fix the sluggish starts when cold from first to second gear and for the clunk when cold start ups. They couldn’t find the culprit for the clicking noise coming from the windshield area, but as per Toyota they wanted to remove the headliner and that was going to take 2.5 hours. I didn’t want the to do that since I can tell that the sound is coming from the lower part of the windshield. My headliner does not sag and I am afraid that could become a problem once it’s removed. The noise is definitely related to the cold temperatures and it’s far worse when the the is in the thirties. I am heading for sunny Florida next week and most likely the clicking noise will disappear with warmer weather. I have looked under the hood and have sprayed silicone lubricant all around the lower rubber seal that butts up to the windshield but it hasn’t helped. I have read in this forum as well as in the Facebook forum and the clicking noise is well documented by other owners. My guess is that Toyota will eventually have a TSB with a fix.

I took mine in for what I thought was whistling from the mirror. They said it was actually coming from the door seal. They ordered a new door seal which should arrive in a few days, but then we’ll see.

I have a nagging noise that comes from my AC. It doesn't happen all the time, but when it does, it is very annoying. I was able to stop the noise by turning the AC off, but it would come back when I turn it back on. Again, it doesn't happen every time. I have a 2023 Platinum Hybrid.

My 2023 SR has bad wind noise about 50-60mph near the driver mirror area. I’ve tried adding weather stripping to the window. And adjusting the mirror. The noise isn’t related the the driver mirror or the driver window seal itself. Starting the think the corner of the front windshield isn’t fully sealed.

I had a noise that was fixed by the dealer. Similar ticking noise that was coming from under the headliner that did get worse in the cold. They had to drop the headliner and said it was something from manufacturing tapping the glass. It had to go in twice but they did fix it. I had a small camera up there from the pillar and the glasses holder and could not see anything.

Drove from Illinois down to Miami and the clicking noise is totally gone . It quit ticking as soon as the outside temp got to 70. Let’s see what happens when I get back to the cold.

BTW, the door seal is on back order. Supposed to show up in late February. I’ll post again when it’s installed.

FYI for all interested, they finally received the replacement drivers side door seals yesterday, and installed them today. The noise is completely gone.

I have the same “clicking” noise. It just real cold here, and tons of snow so,when I hit some bumpy/rough snow pack the click is there. Smooth roads, and it’s gone.

can’t seem to figure it out

I have a buzzing noise LOL, typically over 70MPH or lower depending on wind, just start a few months ago. I think it is the metal trim outside running top to bottom of the window. It’s awesome ;), guessing none has had this one LOL

if I didn’t drive on back roads for work it would almost be tolerable. It’s a struggle to narrow down where it’s coming from and I’m dreading taking it to my dealer as I’ll likely end up more irritated after they try and “help” me.

That sounds very annoying, sounds like a high frequency vibration of something.

Take a look at the door seal between front fender and door. It’s supposed to seal the gap between the two. Mine is loose and flaps in the wind with a similar noise. Dealership is looking at it tomorrow.
