Thinking of getting my bumper and grill wrapped, to match my truck. Any negative input or alternative ideas. If you've had it done, show me some pics.

@XXtorNATEoXX i did my grill surround and bumpers they hold up great but seems to chip easy with small rocks and bugs. I used 3M 1080 Wrap film.

Yes took a 5’x6’ piece for the front and rear bumper and 5’x3’ for the grill. Pretty easy plenty of YouTube videos

Looks like your Tundra is an MGM? If so, good luck finding a wrap material that matches. White and Black Tundras are generally the only ones that can get away with wrapping and matching

Looks real good. Nice truck too. What's an alternative to the wrap? Can you plastic dip?

I’ve used plasti dip, auto dip and now vinyl. Vinyl is way stronger in my opinion and will last longer.

I’d persoanlly either vinyl wrap or powder coat

Plasti dip would be next but it will be a Matte finish even with the gloss clear it still won’t match the truck

Autodip is spray on vinyl and is glossy so it matched well but it didn’t hold up through winter for me.

buy color matched parts or get the painted by a pro would be other ideas.

    Just depends on your budget.
