Powering bullydog tuner with amp's remote wire?

    I am about to go get me a bullydog gt but i was wondering instead of tapping into a fuse can i just tap into my amps remote wire to power the tuner

    I don't see why not. 12v is 12v and the amps that the BullyDog draws is nothing.

    I guess you could. But if you turn the stereo off doesn’t the remote wire loose it’s 12v?

    Also you don’t have to leave it in. You can though. I used to have mine in till my hdmi broke from falling off the windshield in the winter.

    I just tested it and it doesn't loose power when stereo turned off so ima give it a try
