Hi guys . If you had a budget (10k) and you had a 2013 DC in the fastest color (white) . What would you spend 10k on? Bear in mind I can do most things but will leave anything important up to a pro (so everything)

Use of truck: Bought it to go hunting with. Have /had owned 1st gen tundra (2005 sr5 crew cab)for many years. If you want that story you're going to have to ask. It deserves it's own thread. I never thought I'd need another truck. Shit happens, own a 2nd gen now. This truck sees roads most people just take their sidex sides on now. I can't justify owning both so I do the truck thing. Rocks as big as footballs, snow/mud as deep as the doors. I hunt hard in October/November so it could be 80 it could be -30 F° with two feet of snow.

I don't plan to rock crawl it, but I'm drawn to the idea of being able to,because some of the stuff it sees i feel would be graded as "advanced"

I drive it 50 miles round trip on the highway occasionally if the snow is too deep for my gas saver.

I don't tow anything unless somebody needs me to hook up. I bought it with a flat bed with the receiver hitch and fifth wheel hook up in place.

I'd like to be able to drive it 1000 miles on the highway without worrying about having too "off road" of a tire that I worry about buying a second set.

So, with those easy(haha) requirements. How would YOU build your tundra to fit those needs. Remembering that the priority list is with a 10k budget:
    1. Off road capabler then stock.
    2. Occasional commuter
    3. Be the rescue rig for big 3 bretheren.
    4. It's a truck, if you can't tow with it it may as well be a Prius .

I'm thinking a long travel suspension and a supercharger. It I had to, I'd buy a second set of wheels/tires for highway and have "hunting season" tires/ wheels. But I'd prefer something that runs the table. Long travel as I've read can be pretty job specific, so I'd settle for a billstein(6112 I think) front and rear set to max setting. For my use/longevity/practically. pros/ cons of doing that? Supercharger- who doesn't want more power? Auburn LSD- if you were a guy who could possibly end up stuck alot, is it worth it? I understand how the stock LSD works, haven't had to use it to its full potential (yet) but I hate the idea of limiting power to cotners. I've found a steady throttle and luck gets you out better then electronics. Again. Untested in my use. But if I could lock the rear in and lay into it with one of the fronts pulling ( or both!?!!) That would in my mind get me out if needed.

That about covers it. I just want my tundra to continue to prove to kr i don't need to spend 20k+ on a can-am.

If you didn't read all this and need a
    TLDR:

Spend 10k on a stock 2013 DC 5.7 tundra. How you do it?

Many spelling/ autocorrect errors. Forgive me. Or don't

Super charger alone will eat most of 10k. You could go with a nice MT setup (King, Fox, ADS) with a custom leaf pack, an ARB locker w/ onboard air and then throw some AT or MT tires on it. That just ate 10k

i'd avoid supercharger due to initial price and the fact that you need to runner higher octane fuel...sometimes can't find that in the backwoods and it's too f'n expensive.

winch and bumper in case you get into trouble. at least one arb locker, mild lift and tires. beer. done.

    So heres my list.

Billstein 6112s in the back, 5180s in the front. If I break those probably driving too hard. I wish I could race for a living but who doesn't here? Should give me the more level look im looking for

Dick cepecs:anybody run those? I should be able to stuff 33 rough country's under there.

I'm working on a design for bumpers. I didn't learn how to weld to not try to build something better/cheaper to my specs.

Lighting! Lots of lites! I have a concept of pop up lights for our tundras. The minute I get a chance I have a drawing somewhere to patent/build/upload

Supercharger. That will be left up to the pros. I've been reading a lot here of the pros and cons. Because Im an idiot I think the pros outweigh the cons .

Billsteins on order in t minus 1 week.

They're fairly simple in concept. Design Is killing me. Either integration into the grill or hood, real pop ups would be the hood but how to make them stable/ fit Would use regular headlights or w.e leds cut to fit. Small "box" to hold .Switch to turn them on .overlayed into hood.grille idea is a slide down slat metal powered by a small servo.Somebody please build it. I won't even claim it as my idea. Should be fairly simple right???

A lot of custom work, simple for someone with a good deal of mechanical, electrical and fabrication ability. It's a cool idea.

I’m super-sorry for posting, and don’t mean to ruin your budget, or party - but....Kings or equivalent.
I’ve been hunting for 17-20 years, and there has been nothing more rewarding or enjoyable than the proper suspension (real suspension).
After recently going Kings on the Tundra, I found myself going from dodging potholes- to purposely trying to hit them - everywhere I go.
I have no idea why nobody talked me into Kings until now.
Tires would be my first go-to, then Kings, then winch/recovery, then xxxxxxx down the line.
Seriously Kings are worth every single cent they cost.
And I love power. The S/C is on my “list”, but Kings - I would place at the top. Seriously.....they are worth every penny.
ETA - and get the Fing adjustable ones! It’s only $200-$300 more per front/rear - and you HAVE to have the adjustability.

Have you ever had that car/truck where you’ve just itched to drive it? As in - come up with every excuse for the wife to go out for a while and put some miles down? That’s Kings. Just like a supercharger.

I have to agree. I would put the S/C on hold - especially for a hunting/camping rig. You have plenty of power right now.
But, forget the Bilsteins. Go with a nice M/T setup. I run ADS shocks, but Kings are nice also, and Fox makes some decent stuff too. Lots of people will bash each brand for different reasons. I have had zero issues with my MT setup - I love it. I did the install myself and I think including everything it was just a hair under $4K (that includes UCAs, the ADS setup, shackle for lifting the rear, etc). Do that, then get yourself some bigger tires and a good set of skid plates (I run Budbuilt skids).

    Yep, this, exactly.
I picked up new front Kings off here for $1250 shipped (resi, non-adjusting) then rear new resi King’s adjusting for $1210 shipped from SDHQ, Toytec shackles for $150, Icon delta joint upper arms local like new but used for $625.
    That’s $3235.00
    35” Tires/wheels are around $2300.
That’s $5500 total. Leaves $4500 to stick back in the bank to save for a S/C.
