Hi there. I just bought a brand new 2020 Tundra SR5 Crewmax Trd-Off Road! Very different size from my corolla. I was looking into a leveling kit for the truck. There is a guy on craigslist that is selling a 3F 1R Readylift leveling kit for the tundra for 240$. I was just wondering if any of you guys had any experience with these leveling kits? I would like to keep the truck as reliable as possible as I travel a lot for work (military) and really bought the Tundra on the idea of its great reliability.

Hey, bud...you're asking about suspension, and you're in the right section of the forum.

    And welcome from SoCal!

Welcome from TX and thank you for your service.

At a minimum look at bilstein 5100 Shocks. If the budget allows the Bilstein 6112 would be the next option. Toytec also has great products.

There are tons of information on spacer lifts like the readylift. Do your homework!

I am also looking into the readylift 3/1 but on the fence about doing the 5100's. If I go with the adjustable 5100's, will i need to do any other leveling? Wanting to throw a minimum of 33's on it. TIA

33's will be too small with a 3/1. 285/70/18's are 34's and will look a lot better. the 5100's will ride better.

Welcome from East TN! I went 5100's last month and love them. Mid setting on the fronts. I did keep stock tire size though. If its good enough for the PRO, then its good enough for my 10 year old SR5.

    305/65-18 Falken Wildpeak AT3s = 33.6" here. 3/2 lift. Too small?

Welcome from DFW! I'm getting 5100's put on this Friday, largely based on the recommendations of this forum. I had a first-gen Tundra with a spacer front level kit that was problem-free for 13 years and 180,000 miles, but I'm taking the advice I got and doing it right. With just 5100's front and rear there is no additional leveling needed, so long as the fronts are on the right setting.

Yours actually do look good. I think the sidewall design plays a part in it. I'll dig out the pic of mine with the 3/2 and 33's. Mine looked really small....they were the Terra Grappler G2's.

Thank you. You may be right. The Falken Wildpeak AT3s look a lot more aggressive in person than on the websites they are listed for sale on.

how do you like the AT3’s? I’m going back and forth between going with them or the KO2’s

I just added 5100 on the highest setting. It’s about 3cm taller in the front. Looks great in my opinion!

Sorry I should have added that. They are 35x12.50r18 Nitto ridge grapplers. I’m going to do the coach builder .5” shim kit and a cab mount chop for extra clearance.

You totally should! I had 33” bfg ko2 before and tried out 295/70/18... none of those look as good as a 35x12.5! I won’t ever go back. Ride quality is also the same for me.

Do yourself a favor and research both tires. That's what I did and ended up with the Falkens. They are AWESOME in all conditions!

This is the way to go. You sacrifice too much with a leveling spacer.

How do you use your truck? What works for one may not be the best choice for you,

I am about 80% pavement pounder with 20% dirt, gravel and pasture roads. So I went with a Old Man Emu with 612 springs and toytec adjustable shackles, love this set up, fit my needs and budget.

Indeed! My best friend had nothing but KO2s. He was looking for another set of tires to replace his last set of BFGs. He knew I had Wildpeaks and asked how I liked them. He ended up getting the Falkens and loves them even more than the KO2s.
