I’ve got the power stop drilled and slotted on mine with the top of the line Wagner pads and I’m very happy with them I tow a 6x12 enclosed trailer for Quad racing and they def. made a difference over OEM stuff

I used Platinum series painted rotors and pads from Advance, no issues here. Brakes well, doesn't make noises and low dust.

I used powerstop for years. Worked pretty good but can’t say I remember a big difference over oem. Going from worn out oem to new aftermarket there will always seem to be an improvement.

One definite comparable though is price. Powerstop is about half the price of oem.

Many times they are not warped. It’s pad material that is inconsistent on the rotor surface. I suggest trying the break in process again. Some call it bedding them in. Basically you want pad material coating the surface of the rotors. There is a thread on it around here. Racers have it professionally done. But I do know I have a series of breaking methods. Something like 40 down to 20 mph a few times in a row fairly aggressively. Then 60 down to 40 mph just about standing on the pedal a few times LOL. And bring it home and let it cool off. There is a more scientific detailed way to do it but this works for me. Basically you go get them progressively real hot and then bring it home.

Thank you for the info, think I'll install a set. Are you using ceramic pads of just semi-metalics?

Without hijacking the thread too much, how is the caliper paint holding up? Are you finding it getting dirty and looking bad between washes? How are you getting in to clean them when they do get dirty. I love the look, but don't want them to look dirty all the time.

I just installed a set of Hart brand drilled and slotted rotors and Wagner ceramic brake pads on my friends 2014 double cab tundra. His rotors we're warped pretty bad . I did them Saturday so I don't know yet how they are going to hold up.the drilled holes were beveled so they shouldn't crack. They looked really good behind the wheels,
