I'm about to replace my suspension and figure it may be a good time to do brakes so I won't have to deal with it later on.

I'm on OEM 76000 miles and they've already been machined. There's a little vibration now.

Any recommendations on a kit or source for something that will handle a lot of heavy towing? 2012 4x4

    Thanks!

Try powerstop slotted rotors. Heard good things about their rotors. OEM pads seem to be the best way to go from what I'm told.

I hear ARB have great slotted rotors. Slotted is the best way to go, espcicially if your getting her dirty.

I'm looking at the power stop kit with calipers since my right front needs replacing. Not sure about the rear.

If wanting the best stopping power, a BBK is the way to go. If wanting OEM size, I'd go with Disc Italia from Brakeworld.com with some heavy duty pads. Disc Italia will most likely be the way I go when I need to replace rotors.

I did Centric premium rotors and their matching pads. The ones on my Tundra were slotted. Only improvement was wet braking.

Since then I have just used Centric premium rotors and the Centric matching pads on both my Lexus and Tacoma from autoanything.com

I'm trying to get a buget performance set since I already have a lot of rust and need at least a front right caliper. My rear I will probably just go basic oe in the rear. Best way to bleed that front right without messing with the abs system?

I would do a Centric Premium and pads.

You do know the calipers are rebuildable right? Kits are 12.00, unless the caliper is just really rusted and pitted.

Bleed the brakes like normal. Start with the caliper that is furthest from the master cylinder and work your way in. (Pass rear, drivers rear, pass front, driver front)

I'll look into the rebuild kit, the slider pins are really bad and not letting the inside piston return and one of the boots is torn.
