Hello everyone I am currently looking for a brake kit option and I need some guidance. I’ve read multiple forums with good info but I think saying what I really need would be more helpful.

Currently I am looking for a full kit front and rear rotors/pads. I do not tow at all, it is a daily driver in San Francisco Bay Area lots of stop and go traffic, I like to hike and some areas are definitely off road lots of gravel, I recently bought the Goodyear UltraTerrain All Terrain tires and have noticed the extra weight has placed a bit of a strain on the brakes

I would definitely prefer something that does not cause a lot of dust but then again not that picky, I am interested in slotted rotors to cause the heat to stay off more often specially because I do enjoy long drives and some of the hiking areas are at least 2-4 hr drive long

I currently own a Tundra 2007 CM. Thank you guys for taking the time to answer stay safe.

I used BrakeMotive off eBay for my last few trucks without issue

@SouthWestGA I have not fully finished my research on the BrakeMotive option but I do have to say the little research I’ve done say they close to being as good as the PowerStop brand. Super helpful thank you sir for your time. Stay safe!

I too compared them to power stop

i figured If i wore them out or broke them for the price if they lasted till my pads wore out it would be a wash money wise

When i was shopping, the cost of a brake motive set was not much more than just pads alone

I have had BrakeMotive kits on 4 vehicles without complaints

They may not be the best, but are far from worst in my opinion

I used Power stop rotors and Toyota pads on my last Tundra and they worked well.
