I bought this twin ARB compressor with tank & carrying case and it came in today. It seems very well made and I will play with it this weekend.

I wanted to thank @csuviper and David at Toytec for helping me through this purchase. I was able to get this at a discount even though this item is not stocked at Toytec.

I wanted the twin compressor portable and able to run air tools vs the one that has no tank. The case is very well made and the cost more than acceptable.

I called David enough that I was probably a P.I.T.A. but he was patient which I appreciate!

Thanks guys and yes, I would buy from Toytec again!

    Thanks Sean,

It is one serious piece of equipment...can't wait to try it out!

Really am fortunate to be a member here and appreciate everything you and others do in making this the great an informative site that it is! Toytec came to mind because of the customer appreciation day y'all had a few weeks back and I like working with vendors that go to the community as they did. My kind of people!

    Tacograndee,

This ARB is the same twin compressor but packaged as a portable kit so it costs more.

I debated a lot about which of the two to get as the cost was considerably more but I use air tools a lot and the tank allows for that. I could have saved by cobbling together all that this kit has but I value well made grab and go tools that are self contained...this fits that bill for me.

    Thanks Chris,

I have lugged around compressors with extension cords and sometimes a generator to my different job sites so that I can use air tools. This will eliminate some of that plus I will be able to use it in my off hours. A win-win!

    Thanks Blue,

I had to forego some smaller planned maintenance projects around the house to get this at this time but I can see using it a lot.

I've had the same kit for almost 4 years now. It works great. However, I'll be getting rid of mine soon once I install my onboard compressor -- so it'll be for sale probably around ~$450.

    That's a good price!

I like that these are completely rebuildable and are watertight. My racing buddies have not heard of these so I feel like a trend setter lol.

Took the ARB to work and inflated a 16" tire on a work van that was uber flat. It did it very quickly and effortlessly, about 60 seconds. It was a front tire too so it had that engine weight to lift. Like having a large compressor. Very impressive.

The ARB kit is a heavy unit and for that reason probably not something I will drive around with on a normal commuting to work basis but definitely glad to have.
