so I used to ride dirt bikes and sport bikes and I have been getting the itch again. My wife couldn't understand 7k on two dirt bikes used for me and my son so I compromised and went the pitbike route. My son is 13 and never rode before and we are just going to be riding single track not motocross so I figured why not. I bought a 2019 pitster pro lxr 190. I have to admit I was skeptical but this bike awesome. It flat hauls ass and will be effect for the trails around here. It helps that I'm not that tall but so far I like the pitbike. Getting my son an ssr125 . Don't have pics yet but will post when I get home.

Glad you were able to convince the wife to let you and your son get out on 2 wheels. Still have the pit bikes? How did they hold up?

If you are doing single track please do something about the exhaust. IIRC the pitsters and SSRs have pretty much no sound dampening (closed course exhaust, loud exhaust). Also, make sure they have spark arresters.
