Looks like passenger side tailpipe is lower than drivers side! Just saying

Does Borla make the TRD exhaust for Toyota?

I have heard this but didn't think it would be true. Just curious if anyone knows or how yours sounds/looks in comparison to the TRD.

I have heard that as well. The tips I know for sure are a different shape than the TRD exhaust. Borla tips are more rounded and possibly a bit bigger. My opinion on the sound to me between the two. I would say the Borla may be a hair louder then the TRD. At the same time not obnoxious loud but just right. When you get on it it's like music to my ears...... Also Borla may be a little less expensive as well. Third Borla system for me says it all.

To be honest this one I did not install I just took it up to mufflex had them pop it on took about an hour. Cost $100 bucks so definitely worth it my eyes let the BS.... depending on how rusty it is underneath your vehicle is how long it will take and how hard it will be.

Looks good. If Borla uses the factory location, etc., I think you will have one pipe slightly lower than the other. It bothered me enough with my TRD exhaust so I took it back to the dealer that installed it. They tried to make it even, but they said that there's no room to adjust. I think it's slightly asymmetrical from the factory.

I don't think Borla makes the 2nd gen TRD exhaust. Some speculate perhaps it's made by MBRP.

Is there such a thing as too loud? I mean the warble and the roar when I romp on the gas is like angels singing.
If I'm going into a tunnel I will drop the hammer to just hear the roar of the exhaust note bounce of the tiles of the tunnel. If you ever behind a slow poke and in a tunnel romp on the gas once they hear that sound they change lanes...
