    Hey Fellas and Fellettes,

Well, picked up my new Tundra after waiting 5 weeks to get it, damn things are hard to find. Very excited to do some quick upgrades, which all parts have been ordered and will start arriving tomorrow.

    Putting on:
    Falcon truck series shocks
    Fuel Vector wheels 18x9
    Cooper AT3 295x70 tires

Install will happen next Friday. Very excited, love the way the truck drives and all the features but ready for it to have a little more lift and off road performance. Will post pics of parts, etc, as they come rolling in! Oh, and love this group, lots of great info here.

    Regards,
    Bob from Texas

Oh, and why do so many people hate the chrome on these trucks? Doesn't bother me too much, but maybe that's because it's more subtle with the silver truck.

Thanks bud, loving this truck. Was an owner of a 2007 Tundra but sold it and bought a BMW cause I was commuting a lot. Felt like half a man, glad to get my man card back and be in a truck again!!! LMAO

I agree, like some chrome and left it on mine here and there. Don’t plan on changing it and will probably keep a mix

Wheels are in the house...so ready to get rid of the factory wheels and tires. They do not belong on a truck like this. That's where Toyota could up their game immediately.

Your truck is sitting right. Not too high and not too low just perfect. Is your truck height just wheels and shocks. Or you use shackles?. You 3"?

I love the results. No shackles just the Falcon leveling kit which raises the front 2.25 inches and feels like it does give tad lift to the back but that's just a hunch.

    Looks awesome!

I'd like to hear your impressions with the Falcon kit after you've had it for a few miles. Do you know the measurement from the center of your front wheel hub to the bottom of you front fender?

Glad to hear initial impressions are positive!!

Thank you, I'll take a measurement and get back if I can tomorrow. It's freezing here in Texas so might be later tomorrow. LOL

I definitely need to ride on the suspension some more. It's very new and the Truck itself only has 300 miles on it, so will report back. Initial thoughts are they keep getting better every drive. Definitely feel like there's a break in period.

No worries, whenever you get a chance once it warms up would be awesome. I am just curious what the actual measurement is, to gauge the difference between the two settings for the snap ring on the Falcon shocks

There's like multiple heights, a stock height, leveled height, and an "accessory height if you have some heavy front end stuff. i can't imagine buying them and not going for the level option which is 2.25. I think the "med" level is 1.9 inches. I believed they tuned them with leveled in mind so that pretty much made up my mind.

I never thought about Falcon tuning the shock for the leveled setting. That's a good point

I was thinking of the lower, or 'med setting', more for avoiding any alignment issues

Regardless of the lift, even if you go up an inch you will need an alignment. Toyota did mine for free under warranty.

Right, I meant more for keeping the stock upper control arms and still keeping everything within specs after the lift

Pretty sweet you were able to get the dealership to align under warranty after the lift! I don't think my dealership will do that for me

BTW, these Falcon shocks are butter!!! Every ride they get better and better. The ability to drive over any road with speed is a helluva feeling. Looking forward to hitting some trails in March.

Love your set up! Makin’ me wanna do something with my twin to your truck. Do you tow and will the shocks and wheel/tire combo have an affect if towing a 5500# travel trailer, do you think?
