True, true. I would rather do 115 with no humidity than 90 with 95% lol

In all seriousness, my friend had a custom truck back in the day and had someone fabricate a spot on the tailgate so he could flush mount the plate directly into it. It can look good if you do it right, and no worry of it ripping off of road. I know from personal experience that it is an awkward conversation with blue line when they are asking where your plate is and you're like "it's back there, i saw it when I left the house, did you miss seeing it?" . . . . super awkward conversation, I mean super LOL

What rear bumper are you running now? Looks good! Also are you using a factory spare rim on either of your spares?

I have the Evil mfg rear high clearance bumper now. Should have ran that from the start.

I have the same wheels on my spares. I can't run factory wheels with my lift. I would need to use wheel adapters to clear the UCAs. Luckily the Pro Comps I'm running are pretty cheap and it allows me to do a 5 or 6 tire rotation.

Yeah I thought about securing it to the tailgate somehow but not sure if that's the look I want. Funny story, I originally had the plate hose clamped to the bumper. I was heading up to phx for work a few weeks back and some guys pulled up next to me and kept pointing towards the rear. I turned my FRAC on and saw my plate twirling, hanging on for dear life lol. I pulled over and the clamps had ripped through the plate holes. So I removed it and ran without a plate for a few days till I got home. I was running that same scenario in my head on how I was going to explain to the cop where my plate was lol. But I never got pulled over. Luckily in AZ we don't need a front plate so I had another one. I used some different clamps and secured the holes and so far so good. Came up to phx for work yesterday and it survived the trip up so we'll see when I head back tomorrow lol.

LOL. For me it happened on my sport bike, I had pulled off the fender and turned the plate sideways to replace the fender (looked cool and kept mud/grease off of my back in the rain). Apparently I kicked up a rock or something and it took the plate with it, I didn't hear or feel it. The cop and I argued before he told me to get off of my bike and show him where the plate was. I felt stupid . . . . and was given a $700 ticket . . . ouch

Somehow i missed the last 8 pages of posts. Truck is looking killer! We need to do a high speed run here on an early morning. Did Hassyampa river bottom a couple weeks ago. We only broke 2 out of the 4 trucks that went. :bananadead:

Would it be possible to get a straight on side shot of your rig? I want to see how the high clearance rear bumper matches up with the pre-runner front bumper.

    Thanks!
