My lean was pretty bad. Had to do 3 full turns lift on one side and 1 full turn drop on the other. And it hurt my hands. Now when I swap my fronts, I’m going to have to do 6 turns on one side and 2 on the other. That’s gonna hurt. Thanks buddy!

Hey Kris, got this installed but the lights flick on temporarily while turning the key. I ran power to it by running through a relay first so the switch lights aren't illuminated when the ignition is off. Any thoughts?

@16tunterd , Is your relay wired to an Ignition source? If so, do the panel lights come on and stay on when the key is in the "On" position before starting? When you go to start the engine, ignition power is off until the key returns to "on" from "Start". If you move through "on" quickly while starting, it will cause the relay to temporarily energize then de-energize which will result in a flicker. Seems normal based on these assumptions about how you have it wired.

I'm no electrician by any means. I pulled power from the cig lighter as the "trigger" for the 4 pin relay (pin 86). Fused power from battery is going to pin 30. power out to the control box is pin 87. And then ground to pin 85.

OK That still makes sense. The power outlet relay is energized with Accessory and On (Ignition) positions on the key switch. When you go to start, Acc is powered off until the key returns to the ON position.

Thanks Lou. So, I need a power source that is on only when the key is in the on position and not the Acc? Uhh,,, fan? Or do I need to put a switch between the switch control box and the relay which kinda defeats the purpose of the relay. What's weird is the light switches are all off.

Not sure I understand what you mean when you say the light switches are all off. I'd have to dig through the schematics to see which power sources are uninterrupted during start. I'm thinking the ECU power sources are probably always up through the start sequence and after.

Hey bud, Yeah I ran it through a relay first but I installed a switch in between so I could turn the lights on through the panel anytime I wanted. Also good for when I have all my lights on going down the road I can just hit the kill switch and everything turns off in case of on coming traffic lol.

That's a clean install btw, didn't think about putting it there . You going to put any of the labels on the buttons?

Thanks a LOT for the response Kris. You've got a really good point about being able to kill everything at once. I removed the brake controller and zip tied it behind the dash. It's still hooked up in case I should want it. The one time I used it though it sucked.
I saw a sheet of stickers for SPODs that I will probably purchase instead of using the marine ones that came with the controller.

I thought about hooking up all lights to one switch as well but then my head started to spin when I thought about that wiring lol. I'm gonna try to print some custom vinyl labels. If they turn out ok I'll print you some if you want.

Ps - you can pop off the back plate to get to the front face plate and paint/cover that ugly yellow lettering
