Tried to finish it up tonight but ran out of sunlight. Hand buffed with scratch remover and then followed with butter wax.

Pic shows scratch on the door with just wash and then on the bed is after using the remover and wax. Can barely see it on the bed. That scratch went all the way to the tailight lol

Lol that sucks about the hose lol. We have hard freezes every once in awhile and I have to make sure to leave a drip and cover the pipes. Pipes aren't built for the cold out here and they burst all the time

Just read through your build again. Damn you for having that rear bumper, it's growing on me lol.

Lol to be honest it took me a bit to get used to. I mostly chose it to match the front bumper and not really a fan of the full armour bumpers. I have plans (hopefully this weekend) to modify the rear fenders to flow a little better with the bumper.

oh and not too mention that it retains the tow hitch. Most pre-runner style bumpers delete the hitch

Yeah I only really started looking at it in your pics yesterday. My plan is to do a plate bumper in front sometime next year, but for some reason the RDS rear is catching my eye over the plate style tears.

It's strong as hell too - I've been in a couple situations where the bumper and skid have held their weight and prevented damage to other parts of the rear. Have a nice dent and battle scar on the skid lol

@boardude did you paint your NFAB bumper skid or was it a factory option?

I sprayed it with bed liner. I don't think there's an option to paint the skid from factory, at least not when I bought it.

Did the bumper come with a skid or would an RCI front skid be supported if @Sean266 bought a bumper but had skids already??

According to @ToyTec Lifts it should work fine with the RCI skids...they’re going to double check

I would prob still add a light in there. That a 40” clearance? I suppose I can move the one from my valance into the hood bulge. What size is the hood bulge?

The one in the valance is a 30”

Good question. I’ll have to go look at the invoice. It has the high/low/strobe mode if that means anything.

Can't remember which one has the strobe. The S8 is super bright and the ONX6 is highly expensive
