So I haven't been on here as much lately thanks to work and our house remodel. Figured I would share our new home, progress and plans that we have in store for it. So with that said, welcome to this old house!

Sits on an acre which much of it is walled in. Our backyard faces a national forest, Sabino Canyon, so the land and views are preserved which is one of the main reasons why we bought this place.

    Now for the fun part..

    Still in the works...

    - Backsplash
    - Master Shower door
    - Guest batch counters and sink
    - Replace all outlets and switches

    Plans within the remodel

    - Synthetic grass in the backyard
    - Workshop for [yodagan] and I!!!
    - Re-paint entire interior
    - One flooring throughout entire house
    - Gut and redo bathrooms

    Stay tuned...

    Phase 1 - Backyard cleanup

First priority, clean up the pool area. When summer is upon you in AZ this is crucial

    Replaced some trees

    Phase 2 - Interior Demo

Those arches were the first to go. This is going to open up to the kitchen.

Then all floors were ripped out
    [IMG]

We had this weird 4" step down in the front room. We filled that shit in

Fridge and double pantry are relocating to new wall to the right of the opening.

Phase 3 - Design and build

    Kitchen

For the kitchen we are expanding it outwards and adding 4' x 7' island. Adding a door in the old breakfast nook. Cabinets are going to be white with matte black hardware. Black stainless appliances with white/black counters.

    Granite slabs picked out!

    Kitchen cabinets going in!

I do ok but the market in AZ is hot right now. We sold our primary and rental house and are dumping it all into this one. We got this house for a steal with no realtors involved!

Yea it's pretty awesome. The wildlife around the property is cool too. Even have a resident bobcat that we've seen jump the wall a couple times.

    About 2200, 4 bed, 2 bath.

Very nice upgrades to the Bat Cave!
Pool looks awesome, but having been to Tucson a tons of times, just looking at the scenery I can feel how hot AF it is LOL I'll be in PHX in a couple of weeks and can't wait to be in 120* weather (sarcasm).
Keep the pics coming and congrats

AZ made the news here. There was a snake in those pool noodles. So, if you have any of those make sure you check them as snakes like them due to the darkness and tight fit.

I was raised up there. Went to grade school when living near sabino canyon and river rd. This was when river rd was a dirt rd and we were so far out of town it was about an hour bus ride to school.
    Beautiful country, for sure.
Your house project looks like it’s gonna be awesome when done!
