    Removed lots of rust.
I removed my blower motor to clean the fan. When I look up into the housing, I see that the metal inlet plate has rusted out. Is there a way to repair this metal plate. A new blower housing is over $500.

Pics might be helpful for someone to suggest a solution.

Yeah. Not sure how bad the housing looks without pics, but you may be able to fab some metal and use foil tape to shore up the innards as best as possible. Otherwise, new box time.

You’ll need to stop the leak thats coming from above which is causing the rust condition. Its leaking from the windshield cowl screw/clip straight above. Twist yourself and shine a light up in there and you’ll see the leaky clip with your head wedged in the footwell.

Image captured during an Island Summer Tropical Thunderstorm. The air was thick with moisture. The natives were restless. Hand Model was doing Yoga to see what you see. It was Pure Nirvana (rare image copy rights pending).
