Ouch. Imagine thinking you got the whole thing and realizing you have to spend that same amount again. If someone assisted with that order I’d be chewing them out about now.

Ordered... and confirmed this part number is for the black tips. Truly do appreciate you saying something. Once I checked my emails the Toyota Dealership also had reached out to me with the heads up. Solid all the way around

Congrats. Im sure you'll love these additions to your truck.

Make sure to disconnect the battery before you install the exhaust, airflow accelerator and air filter. Get rid of the charcoal filter while you're at it.

Seems silly they would have 2 part numbers for it. Up in the air exhaust wise on choices. TRD is one for sure.

My truck came with one added on at the dealer and I am so glad it had it on it. It's definitely worth the money in my opinion and looks great against the Cavalry Blue. I do plan on taking it off in the summer and painting the rest of it VHT black from the tips back.

can you buy just the tailpipe kit to replace the tailpipe section on the 17 Pro to get the black tips? is it a direct replacement?

Give an idea on how the VHT turned out, here is my Blitz Nur Spec R exhaust that I painted for my old 2005 STi a long time ago.

Yes, its a direct replacement. You need to order a new set of hardware and gaskets though. Its not advisable to re-use the old gaskets.
Here's the part number of the gasket kit - PTR03-34104

Or just uninstall the tailpipe section and paint them - lot cheaper IMO.
