Hello. Does anyone have a gray interior like mine and decided to outfit it with black seat covers and floor liners? I was wondering if this is a look that worked for anyone? Was thinking of getting these in black but don't want to regret it.

Check my build page for some modeling looks. I think your idea will be nice.

My 2003 Tacoma had a gray interior and I went with black mats. The combo looks great in my opinion. And I always get black mats for the interior of all my vehicles regardless of interior color. Black works well with anything...

I have black floor mats in my light gray interior. I wouldn't have it any other way.

Once you eliminate the light gray, I sense more HP will make you go faster.

I have been considering black vinyl, but every diy install I have seen looks like a badly made bed- lots of slack and wrinkles.

I may go black carpet, but I will power wash my carpet first to see how it comes out. It is full of stains.

They make a black stain for carpet if you want to go that route. I thought about doing it a few years ago.

Do it. I have black rubber mats and it looks nicer than the fancy color matched factory mats.

I'd like to do black carpet and black headliner with those star lights eventually. The only thing about light gray carpet is it hides sand better than black. On the fence about black seats though, might burn me legs when I don the daisy dukes.

Can't go wrong either way IMO.
The guy I bought my 06 DC w/ grey interior from put grey weather tech's in it. When he sold it to me he said he wished he would've gone with black.
My last 03 AC had grey interior as well, and I had black mats in it . . . I liked those as well.
The grey are definitely a little 'different' . . . they show dirt a little more I guess.

Here are my Circa 2002 OEM Toyota ‘All Weather Floor Mats’ with the gray interior. Added some black accents on some interior trims.

I initially ordered WT liners but didn't like the fit. So I went with some black rubber mats from Lloyds. Gotta get Katzkins for the seats next.

LoL ... you guys beat me too it.

It's a drive-shaft disconnect, so I can flat-tow it behind my bus. I'm surprised you haven't asked what the schrader valve is on the kick-panel.

    It's been around quite a while: https://www.remcodsc.com/coupling/

I had a drive shaft specialist install. No problems since install about 7 years ago.

My bus has air brakes and this Schrader provides bus air proportional braking via a pneumatic braking mechanism, which my wife fondly calls 'Robo-Leg'. It works very well. This picture is not of mine, but is the same mechanism. The blue attached tank is pressurized air that is triggered if there is a break-away situation. It would release air and depress 'Robo-leg' as hard as possible to stop the vehicle from crossing into oncoming traffic.

My bus is 52,000 lbs and has no problem stopping with the truck attached, but it's the law that supplemental braking is installed if the tow vehicle is more than 3,000 lbs.
