    Hi Everyone,

First time poster and new to the forums. I am looking to upgrade my suspension on my 2017 double cab TRD offroad tundra. Ultimate goal I see for my truck is to level it, create a more aggressive stance, some ko2s and call it a day. My truck spends 90 percent on the street and about 10 percent beat to a pulp deep in Baja or local mountains.

After some research and combing through the forums I was wondering if installing the Bilstein 6112s are the best bang for my buck for my price range and where I will be going with my truck.

My budget is about $1000 and any input would be greatly appreciated!

I'm in the same boat as you. After reading a ton of threads here I've decided to go with 6112's set at the 1.9" setting, then putting 5100's out back. Plan on stuffing 295/70/18 under her to round out the look. Seems like a good compromise between aggressiveness and practicality.

Welcome from CO. Best bang for the buck? Old Man Emu "triple stage" NitroCharger Sport shocks and custom assembled OME coil overs from ToyTec. http://toyteclifts.3dcartstores.com/OMETUN07CL--Complete-lift-for-07-Up-4x4-Tundra_p_254.html Check out the OME suspension specs and engineering on ARBs website. http://store.arbusa.com/Suspension-Systems-C16.aspx Each OME shock is Aussie engineered and manufactured expressly for the vehicle they're going onto. Also you get to chose which coil spring rate is best for your setup. OME doesn't get enough mention here. Quality Aussie products. These aren't in the same league as rebuildable resi's but the next best thing engineering wise over 2 stage shocks like Bilsteins which are quality shocks. Several of us here went the OME route and might chime in. The ride is not as smooth on the street as OEM street setup but off road the ride is just fine. At least in my case. No complaints.

Yep, I think so. 6112s at $700, 5100s in the rear at $165, or 5160... and a few hours of your time. Great option for you!

Toytec Boss also seems really nice, but starts to creep out of your price range.

The ToyTec Boss system is a kick it up a notch kit which is great but above $1K . Boss is around $1250. There should be a ToyTec member discount too.

+1 on the OME Set up (Old Man Emu)
Great product and very well engineered.
So far 30k on my OME 614s with zero issues.
