2017 Tundra crewmax, daily driver, most off road I do is gravel roads and farm land for camping. Went to 4 wheel parts festival in DFW today. I can get either Bilstein 6112 & 5160 set for $905 plus tax and install or the OME kit with 612 springs, shocks front and rear and 1 inch spacer in rear installed for $1173.00

Not sure which route to go. I would like best ride possible, but want something durable. Looking for input.

6112/5160 gets my vote for sure. Ive had good luck with OME on a few Landcruiser projects though. I just think the biksteins do really well on these trucks.

I love my 6112/5160 setup. If you are close to NW Fort Worth let me know and I'd be glad to meet up with you so you rest it out.

They have the 6112's in stock? I thought they were still backordered with no confirmation on a back in stock date.

Still backordered, but rep told me mid June or end of June. Took with grain of salt. Funny he said some company in australia bought most of them hence the shortage and back order.

He sounded like he was shooting from the hip to make a sale. I’m torn, wait or try Old man emu. Or scratch it all together and wait for current tires to wear out and just get dirty deeds 8 inch exhaust.

I waited for 2 months to get a set of backordered 6112's through a dealer that's suggested here often. In those two months of waiting was able to save enough extra $ to be able to afford ADS Racing 2.5" coilovers w/ clickers. Kinda glad it all happened like that in hindsight, but its still frustrating not being able to get your hands on the most commonly suggested coilover on the forum

Old Man EMU is a solid kit. Ride is stiffer but is pretty much bullet proof and straight forward.

I was looking at the 5110’s for my Tundra. Front and rear kit with the 1” blocks are they any good or should i shell out the xtra for the 6112? Very little off road driving

5100's are fine with what your wanting to do. As far as blocks, a 1" tapered block would be just fine. Some members here do not like them, but your talking about 1". I have them and have no complaints . It's all about what your doing with your Tundra . 6112's are great, but as you can see they are a hot commodity .

Is everyone installing the diff drop kit with the 2.5 setting? Also does anyone install the 6112 without installing the 5160’s in the rear? Probably look at those down the road?

6112's up front and 5100's in the rear with a 1"tapered block. No need for differential drop @2.5

6112's up front @ top setting , 5100's in the rear with a 1"tapered block
295/70/18 Nitto Ridge Grapplers on factory rims . Purchased Spider Trac spacers from @ joem1cha3l, Thanks again Joe. These are a 11/4" . The only rub I have Josh is on passenger front @full lock. It's hitting the small flap, but not even enough to remove it. I guess I got lucky, it ended up being exactly what I was looking for, which is a little bit of rake with a semi aggressive stance. Hope this helps Josh

Thanks. I have some KO2's in 275/70/18's. I am trying to decide to go 5100's on the middle setting or maybe OME at 2.5/1. Im just little worried about the tires looking too small.

My OME setup with 613 coils performs just fine. Got close to 3" lift. 2 3/4". Added ToyTec shackles to regain rake. Check out ARB's OME site and read up on the Aussie engineering and specs. I was quite surprised.
